Christmas Morning

Can I think back that far???? We woke up kinda late....okay my boys and Madison. Grandma was sitting on the couch since 5am waiting and the VA Molnars were locked in Noah's room cause they were told they couldn't wake up their cousins. How nice is that? We got started about 9ish. Everything is pretty much a blur from there on. Except I do remember that Uncle Matt was the man of the hour opening every box that housed a toy. THANKS!! Ben tried stealing Amanda's handy tool but was unsuccessful. The kids got everything they wanted and more and we had a great time with everyone. Im sure I will post more pictures later. Amanda got some cute ones of the boys but I haven't uploaded them yet.

Shell vs. Ice

On Christmas morning I was outside playing with Ben, Jeff and the kids. Everyone else was inside sleeping. Well I should have been too. Bryce fell and as I went to catch him I slipped on the ice. No worries Bryce is fine, me however not so much. This last week I have been in some agonizing pain. With Ben at work all week (day and night) getting to the ER has been a challenge. All my neighbors offered to watch the boys and I should have taken them up on it. But I really didn't think too much was going to be wrong. I thought for sure it was just a sprain. Yeah I was wrong. Ben got home today and loaded us up to drop me off at the ER. Final diagnoses: I fractured and sprained my foot and please lets not leave out a bone chip to top it all off. WTF!!! Is that possible?!? I'm so pissed. So my foot still hurts like hell, I have this ugly ass shoe/cast thing and crutches. Yes crutches. THIS SUCKS!! All I can think of is I have way too much to get done. Christmas needs to be packed and put away, kids need to be chased and played with, a Birthday Party needs to be planned, pictures need to go back, not to mention the "everyday mommy/wife things.

And it gets better. Bryce has come up with this horrible cough today. The poor baby has started crying every time he coughs and just can't stop. Its seriously annoying us so I know it's bugging him. He has been upstairs trying to sleep but can't. I feel so bad for him. So the neighbor across the street is going to watch Noah tomorrow while my gimp ass crutches Bryce into the doctor. Yes of course Ben has 1st boat for the 4th time this week. GRRRRRRRRR. And NO DUSTY I will not be taking pictures of me walking with crutches at any point in the next 2 weeks for you!!!!

Christmas Eve 2008

First Happy New Year to everyone! I'm a little slow in posting from Christmas, sorry. On Christmas Eve we loaded up and headed over to Connie's house (Amanda's mom) We had a great time and she is such a wonderful lady. The whole family is very welcoming and we really enjoyed our time over there. The kids had a blast running around playing and the adults enjoyed lots of laughs and a few martini's. YUMMY! The food was awesome too. After our time there we loaded up to get home for our Christmas Eve at the house. The boys got their cookies decorated for Santa, put out Santa's key and we all sat around with hot chocolate watching the Polar Express. Madison liked it as much as the boys. After the movie we hurried them upstairs to sleep. Matt, Amanda and the kids showed up later that night and it gave us a boost of energy. We sat around talking a little more, well Amanda had the right idea and went to bed. I hurried the boys along to finish "last minute" things so I could head to bed too.

Snow Day

On Monday we loaded everyone up and headed to Sears. The kids had their pictures taken. Which for some reason went really really smooth, until the Mom's got ready to place their orders. After pictures we headed to the food court for some lunch while pictures were printing. Amanda posted some pictures on her blog (link on the side FOUR MOLNARS) if you want to see them. After pictures we had a few arrands to run then we met everyone at Amanda's moms. By the time we got there is was almost dark so they didn't get a lot of snow time but they had a blast still. Connie made dinner for all of us and it was great. Here are a few pictures of the kids that day.
